The method

Lagree. Not Pilates.

Slow movement, constant tension, no rest. Training that keeps your muscles working longer — and leaves your joints alone.

What is Lagree

Time under tension.

Lagree is a training method designed by a bodybuilder to build strength, endurance and muscle definition through slow, controlled movement.

It is built around time under tension — muscles stay engaged for long periods until they truly fatigue. Every movement is intentional. No momentum, no rushing, no wasted effort.

The result is a workout that feels challenging and mentally engaging, while staying sustainable and joint-friendly.

Why it works

Intense. Intentional.

Lagree trains the body in a smarter way. Moving slowly under constant resistance forces the muscles to work harder, improving strength, balance and endurance while supporting joint health and body awareness.

Each class is designed to:

  1. 01strengthen the entire body
  2. 02improve posture and core stability
  3. 03increase endurance and control
  4. 04create visible muscle definition

The machine

The MegaPro.

At Crush. you train on the MegaPro — Lagree's most advanced machine. Its redesigned carriage and platform lift are immediately recognisable, not just in how they look but in how they feel.

The MegaPro creates resistance, stability and control all at once. It is not there to assist you. It challenges you.

The machine doesn't do the work. It makes sure you do.

What to expect

Dark. Loud. Focused.

A class at Crush. is focused and intentionally intense. The studio is dark, the music is loud — the atmosphere is designed to eliminate distractions. Coaches guide the class via microphone with clear, continuous cues so you always know where to focus.

Our coaches work hands-on and detail-driven: alignment corrections and individual guidance when needed.

You may shake. You may hit moments of challenge. That's part of the method and part of the process.

Lagree vs. Pilates

Similar machine. Different workout.

The machines look similar. So do the movements. Anyone who has done both knows within ten minutes: these are two completely different experiences.

  • Goal

    Pilates
    alignment, mobility, body awareness, rehab

    Lagree
    strength, endurance, muscle definition, core

  • Muscle fibres

    Pilates
mainly fast-twitch, movement through the full range

    Lagree
slow-twitch — worked to complete fatigue

  • Pace

    Pilates
measured, with pauses and resets between exercises

    Lagree
extremely slow movement, extremely fast transitions, no rest

  • Equipment

    Pilates
reformer (Joseph Pilates, early 20th century)

    Lagree
Megaformer / MegaPro — larger, more handles and platforms, standing and full-body work

  • Afterwards

    Pilates
    aligned, lengthened, centred

    Lagree
deeply worked, energised, surprised how intense low impact can be

Both have real value. Many people who do Lagree regularly also do Pilates — and their Pilates improves because of it.

Who it is for

For anyone who trains with intention.

Coaches adjust, refine and intensify throughout the session, so beginners are supported and advanced clients are continuously challenged. No one is left behind. No one is let off easy. Intensity isn't about keeping up with the room — it's about how long you can stay under tension.

This method doesn't reward ego. It rewards discipline.
